1 - PURPOSE AND NATURE OF THE EVENTS
WHEREAS the RED CARPET RUNWAY serves as a platform for the local Australian fashion industry, designers and professionals representing their nation of origin and cultural identities, in a celebration of cultural diversity expressed through the artistic and social movement of Fashion, with the aim of promoting a sustainable global fashion industry.
The RED CARPET RUNWAY (the "RCR") is a collection of local designers showcasing their latest fashion collections on the catwalk either as their own or through a collaboration with another local designer. Designers and vendors have an opportunity to sell their products direct to the public at the after show market dedicated to the promotion and trade of designer clothing and accessories. Prior entry is reserved for models with an approval pass for backstage preparation with their designers.
The RED CARPET RUNWAY connects models to creative artists and designers, trusted people in the fashion and entertainment industry. We believe in making a difference in the lives of aspiring models and talents by giving you a chance to showcase your talent to a large audience of credible fashion shoppers, designers, fashion houses, agencies etc.
By joining our modelling pool you'll be selected to work with one of our many partnered designers to assist in showcasing their latest collection on the catwalk in front of a live audience.
